Zero Conditional / Condiționalul Zero

If you try to talk to someone, and they completely ignore that you exist and don’t even turn and look at you or answer what you’re saying, that person is as cold as ice.
Acesta este un exemplu de condiționalul Zero.

Condiționalul Zero se folosește pentru a axprima un adevăr general, sau lucruo care sunt mereu adevărate în anumite condiții.

a. La formarea propozițiilor în care se folosesc adjective la gradele de comparație se folosește conjuncția than (decât).

b. În compararea a două obiecte având calitatea similară, se folosește construcția as …as (tot așa de …ca și).

Exemplu: I would be more disturbed if there was emotional cheating rather than physical.
Este un exemplu de folosire a condiționalului II.
El exprimă o acțiune ireală cu consecințe imaginate.

Fraza condițională este compusă din două propoziții simple.
În condiționalul II, după If urmează trecutul simplu, iar în altă propoziție verbul stă la condiționalul prezent (would + simple present).
Exemplu: If he really loved her, he wouldn’t cheat on her.

take on este un verb frazal.
Verbele frazale (phrasal verbs) sunt compuse din verb + preposiție sau adverb care schimbă sensul original al verbului.
